BABY MASSAGE

Same with us, babies also love to be pampered. One of the best way to pamper your baby is to give it massages the entire body. This action can be a calming experience for both of you. So there's nothing wrong if you start soon.

WHY BABY MASSAGE HELPFUL?
Baby massage will not only strengthen the bond between you both, this also can increase baby's immunity, soothe colic, and helps babies sleep more calmly.

IS IT SAFE?
Gentle massage definitely safe, but there are some things to be considered; do not pull forcibly move the baby's legs and hands; avoid the skin rash; don't massage when she was unwell.

WHAT IS NEEDED?
You need a mattress to lay her/him, and non-scented oil like olive oil, (avoid peanut oil-containing materials such as almond oil). You also need to prepare a soft towel to cover her body that are not being massaged, and clothes are comfortable to wear after a massage.

HOW?
Lay her on the mat, rub a few drops of oil between the palms of your hands.
  • Start with your fingers ran softly on both sides of the forehead, across his brow, then at his cheek.
  • Lift his arms above his chest, and flick ups and downs for each arm. Then rub gently downward from the hips toward the foot.
  • Use light pressure, form the letter X, the right shoulder toward the left hip, and repeat the opposite.
  • Put your hand on his chest, move to the outside of the movement to make small circles.
  • Raise his hands, and stroked his hand up toward his shoulders. Repeat for other side. Make a small circular movements in the palm of his hand.
  • Completed by holding the legs to move the legs to the inside and outside (kicking movement) gently.
WHEN IT CAN BEGIN?
Massaging your baby can be started as early as possible, even on a day-old infant. So you do not have to postpone again. HAPPY BABY MASSAGE :)
